Grant’s Cause Family Day

Every September in Greenwood, you can be part of raising awareness for Spina Bifida! This event was inspired by Grant, who lives with Spina Bifida, a developmental congenital disorder caused by the incomplete closing of the embryonic neural tube. He is showing the world how strong he is but the family continues to ask for your prayers and support. Grant’s journey continues and he will need several medical evaluations and therapies throughout the years. Your emotional and financial support is so important to the Gillespie family.

Kyleigh’s Gift Fund Run/Walk

This October event at Liberty Hospital supports the Kyleigh’s Gift Fund which purchases micro-fleece SleepSack swaddles for the Liberty Hospital Birthing Center. The swaddle is a wearable blanket that replaces loose blankets in the crib that can interfere with breathing and will be used to encourage safe sleeping practices for newborns and to help prevent infant deaths. Rodger and Leann Weller created the Kyleigh’s Gift Fund after the passing of their daughter, Kyleigh Elizabeth, in 2012.
